As You Like It

For this show, we really wanted to emphasize the differences between the desolate court and the magical forest of Arden. My lighting design really emphasized this difference as well as drew from the characters’ delight from love, despite its hardships. In addition, I really wanted the lighting to show how the characters have changed within themselves, but also how they have changed the world around them.
